About me
I was born in France, I’m both Turkish and French. I really discovered Turkey when I was 20 years old.
I felt the need to express my point of view regarding Turkey and the European Union through this blog. I aim at introducing the prejudices and the unbelievable brainwashing of some media about Turkey to the French and European citizens.
Thus, I created this blog because I’m fed up with watching or reading unfair and subjective news about Turkey.
Regards,
Cem
PS: the mosque on my blog was chosen by the Blogactiv support team (since I didn’t choose any picture). When I saw it, I said to myself: “Why not?”.
Although I do know that this picture may refrain people from reading my articles (owing to islamophobia or to the prejudices towards Islam), I didn’t change it. Because people have to know that Islam, as all our main religions, says: “Thou shalt not kill”.
Well at first I’m Turkish, not Muslim, because I don’t consider myself as Muslim. Actually I’m Turkish of Muslim religion, and being of Muslim religion does not explain my existence. Thus, I want people to consider me as Turkish.
I am of those who strongly believe that religion must remain in the private sphere, because if someone believes in God, they believe for themselves.
If I were Christian or Jewish, I would have thought the same.
To the ennemies of the Jews, I would tell them that I’m Jewish. To the ennemies of the Christians, I would tell them that I’m Christian.
Because we are all equal.
Let’s prevent the dark powers from dividing us.
Because we, the citizens of the world, deserve a better future than the one we are being suggested.
“Peace at home, peace in the world”
